By the end of this course, students will understand the roles of each member of the veterinary team, how patients move through a veterinary hospital, handle patients safely, be able to perform a basic physical exam & laboratory skills, & have a basic understanding of the laws & regulations that govern veterinary medicine. While this curriculum focuses on companion animals (cats, dogs, horses), many principles can be applied to large animal medicine.
