This lab package presents a patient group, group history, & facility findings in a step-by-step fashion. Each page gives students a litlte more information & poses questions for students to work through. This particular case presents a case of highly pathogenic avian influenza & stresses the importance of biosecurity. Avian influenza has run rampant throughout the US over the last year, leading to major hen dieoffs & contributing to the increased egg prices.

While working through this case in small groups, or even as a class, students will...
